I’d like to thank my mother, my agent (if I only had one) my publicist (ditto) my children (bless them for their role in this venture - no doubt they’ll have more to say about it when they’re older), and everyone who knows me, whether it be via this marvellous machine or in what some people like to call Real Life.

Well done you - I’m always very impressed with how you consistently add entries to your blog - I go in such phrases and have recently been distracted by the hypnotic power of Facebook. But you inspire me to get with the program and blog more regularly!

I steer clear of Facebook and Bebo and My Space and all that - although I do have accounts with them so I can lurk. I find it too much to keep up with them properly, and anyway, what’s the point?
I’m curmudgeonly on-line as well as in the flesh I’m afraid!
